No wrestler has stood by Jon Moxley’s side longer, after Yuta abandoned Best Friends – the faction that helped train him and bring him to AEW – in April 2022. Moxley has brought out the worst in Yuta, who has suffocated Bryan Danielson with a plastic bag and assisted Mox in trying to pour cleaning solution down Orange Cassidy’s throat. But in many ways, Mox has brought out the best in his protégé as well. The AEW World Trios Title reign enjoyed by Yuta and fellow Death Riders PAC and Claudio Castagnoli was the second-longest in AEW history at 234 days and ended only because of an injury to PAC that caused the triumvirate to relinquish the titles.
