An All-America wrestler at the University of Minnesota, Benjamin made a seamless transition to the pro ranks. Benjamin and partner Bobby Lashley were dominant during their 214-day AEW World Tag Team Championship reign. They also were never pinned or submitted for those titles, as an in-match attack by The Demand opened the door for Brodido to beat FTR and take the belts in a 2025 three-way match at Forbidden Door.
